After using this for awhile, I conclude that I prefer the foam ones. This has a nice scent though. Its citrus with flower hints. It is quite nice for the guest room. It is light but still quite a strong scent to fill up the bathroom. So it musk away those stinky scent. Plus it is good to get rid of fishy scent too. The granules is so fine, you cant really feel it. It just get washed away under the tap just like that. So yah.
I think I’m buying a lot of BBW products. Namely the hand soap. I love them and they’re great, especially the foaming ones. I now have 3 sinks that need hand soaps. So I have lots of reasons to buy them. This one is for my kitchen. Personally the Snow-kissed Citrus is a better scent. It’s just less lemony. But Kitchen Lemon has a stronger plain lemon scent. It’s perfect for the kitchen. Slightly boring, but good.
I like foamy hand soap. It just dispense foam that doesn’t run from the palm. It’s just less messy. This one has such a nice scent. It’s very citrus like, but not so overpowering. It’s more of a holiday scent instead of the typical summery citrus. Plus it doesn’t dry up the hand after the wash. So it’s really nice.
BBW hand soap in Sg cost $12. So it’s a good time to buy them during their annual mid year sales. At 50%, it cost me $6. The deep cleansing soap has granules in it. So it’s meant to be sort of a scrub. But I don’t see how it can be scrub, when the soap is so gentle. It foams up nicely and leaves your hand very smooth. Not directly after you rinse it off and dry it, but only after about 30 seconds after drying then you can feel it.
Sea island cotton is a very clean scent. It’s nice for hand wash as it is not overly strong. But it wash the bad scent away. So wasn’t that bad for $6.
These smells really really good. It has the mandarin scent. So it’s very fresh but it has other scents too making not so fruity. It’s quite a good blend of scents. The hand wash is typical. So nothing much except I enjoy it. For the balm, a little is all you need. I find that one pump is too much. It takes time to sink in. It’s very moisturising, so I find that it’s too much for a simple hand cream. But if it’s something you use before bed time, it will be just nice.
Another place I can think of is Marks & Spencer. They sell a great variety of product, well mostly toiletries. They also have perfume and home fragrance. The thing bout them though is that they are for the more mature ladies, I feel. Like I only go there to buy stuff for my mom or my aunt. Another alternative is Crabtree & Evelyn. But that’s more for everyone, and it’s a little pricier. There’s many shops that’s perfect for gift set shopping. With so many scent to choose from, I think it’s hard to choose just one gift.
And I know you’ll go I don’t want to buy another hand cream, nor do I want to receive one, but it’s Christmas. It’s no excuse for another boring present, but I am not suggesting to buy everybody hand creams. Unless that person really need one or want one. I just think these kind of gifts are perfect for those last minute guests or just random gifts.
There are just so many option for Christmas presents, it’s really hard to just give a few ideas or even categories. Here I have the lavender floral collection from Marks & Spencer.
So the middle one is the body lotion. On either sides are hand lotion and hand soap which come in a set. It’s just a travel size and I don’t like the packaging cause it’s troublesome. You have to twist the cap open and it will be easily lost if you’re not careful.
The scent wise is lovely. I personally love their peach scent. Lavender is pretty much lavender. The lotions are not at all sticky. It absorb really quickly but the moisturizing factor doesn’t last that long. So that is pretty much the only bad thing I can say about this. The hand soap just has a light scent, but the cap just makes me not use it. That is it, just a short review. Nothing much to say really.
