If you love the scent of gardenia, you will love this. It’s just so flowery. I’m not one who love the scent of flowers, but it’s nice. Cause it has this After scent of a slight rose. It’s like walking into a garden passing by a few different flowers. The scents will overpower you when you take a sniff. But it’s gone when you don’t smell it close. It’s the kind of perfume that doesn’t really drag and leave a footprint behind.
Regardless still a nice perfume even though I wouldn’t buy the full size of this. It’s just a nice change from the usual fruity scents I prefer and all the roses scent I tend to have.
Mon Numero 8 is a very elegant scent of powdery iris, jasmine and musk. Supremely chic. Mon Numéro 8, with its luxurious mood, is like a cashmere stole draped over the bare shoulders of a lady one evening at the opera.
It’s a really lady scent like a kind of scent you only get to sniff at high end hotels. It’s just slightly powdery making it more wearable for daily than what you’ll expect of this kind of perfume. The first scent is very strong but it lingers more towards Johnson Baby Powder with a hint of dry sour plum.
I like it enough as it’s not too strong. But it doesn’t worth the scent to me cause dry plums are what I eat when I feel nauseous. So it doesn’t scream luxury to me.
It’s nice when people travel taking business class to a long distance country, and they do not want the free goodies. So it will be pass down to me instead. This one is like for 2015/2016 cause I know now Ferragamo came out with the new perfume (Signoria Eleganza) which I am happened to have a set too.
Signorina, a lovely and chic Italian name that literally means young woman. Stylish, truly Italian, fresh and full of life.
The bright fizzy notes of currant spiced by fresh pink pepper bring their joyful, cheeky character to green notes. A generous dewy floral heart is composed of elegant jasmine, pink peony and rose. Spontaneous and delicate sweetness of pannacotta together with soft musks and intriguing woody patchouli notes offer a racy Italian elegance and an unexpected addictiveness.
I like it. It’s a nice scent. Feminine. Gentle. But the first spray is quite strong. It’s just that the scent is rather on the soft side. It’s perfect for daily and morning when you don’t have a plan.
The hand lotion is alright. The scent is there. But I just don’t really like it. I guess it’s travel size but it’s still not small enough. Cause this is kind of chubby. The lotion also doesn’t take fast to sink in. But it’s alright especially when you are on the plane.
The lip balm is a white balm. It’s the same as the Attimo one. I guess it’s just something you can use on the plane without drying your lips. I don’t like it and the scent wasn’t there. But I can imagine if your are up there in the cabin without a balm. You will be fine with having this.
Alber Elbaz says: “Lanvin Me is more than a fragrance. Its composition tells a story expresses in each separate shade. It resembles a partiture of feelings and emotions of a moment, like a fascinating melody of senses.”
Top notes of Lanvin Me introduce delicate floral notes supported and sweetened by fruity zest of blueberry combined with liquorice in the heart. Seductive hues are offered by intense tuberose complementing sweet-fruity passions rounded on the fascinating base.
This is quite a strong perfume. I remembered I use to quite like it, but now not so much. It’s just one of those perfume that you spray and leave the house. And you won’t have the thoughts of oh I smell nice. So it’s not that good in my book. It’s not so overpowering unless you take a sniff. So ya. Neutral.
Fresh Floral. Fresh, delicate, swirling. In the first wink, a bouquet of rose, jasmine and orange blossom takes flight to a delicate melody. The second twirl takes place as cherry, apple and blackcurrant enter the stage, refreshed by explosive green notes. Finally, white amber temptations are revealed and a cloud of white musks envelops the ensemble in a cosy halo.
This is EdT which is nice cause it’s not so heavy. Even after 6 hours, the scent still lingers on my skin. Not as strong, and differ from the first scent that come out from the tube. I like the after scent more. It’s more light. Not musky not floral. Just light.
I really do not like posting about fragrance cause I don’t know what to say, how to describe. I guess I can only say whether I like it or not. I do like it. I feel it’s good for those who want a something stronger but afraid of the power. So this is quite light yet it’s slightly powerful.
I wouldn’t buy it exactly. But I think it’s nice to have the samples around. For a fancier lunch. Yah this suits those nice lunch at fancy hotel but you don’t want to be the centre of attention.
Among all the Marc Jacobs perfume, this is my fav. The scent is sweet but not sickly. It’s those scent that you can constantly be surrounded in and still feels fine. Like hotel lobby scent. I guess if there is a home perfume in this, I will buy it.
Nirvana White is a musky – floral fragrance composed of peony, lily of the valley and musk.
I just had to get this after so much positive review online. It was not available in Singapore. So when I saw this in Aussie, I grabbed it. I picked up the roller ball which was 10ml and cost quite a bit. Then at the checkout line, I saw this, which is only AU$17 for 7ml. Per ml, it’s cheaper to get the 7ml which is a Christmas edition. I guess that’s why it is cheaper. It is kind of a clearance item. I bought it in March.
The 7ml roller ball is stout. I think I prefer the 10ml longer leaner version. I don’t know, I prefer it. But anyway, the scent is awesome. It’s very grown up. I tested the black one but that is just too musky for me. It was just too strong and overpowering. I don’t like it. But this, the white one, is perfect. And roller ball is just the way to go. It’s small to bring around and easy to apply. The best part about this perfume, it last forever. Ok, not forever but after a couple hours, I still can smell it on my wrist. Love it.
Pure DKNY A Drop Of Rose by Donna Karan is a Floral fragrance for women. Pure DKNY A Drop Of Rose was launched in 2012. The fragrance features turkish rose, black currant, magnolia, cedar, verbena and vanilla.
This is another sore scent that I like. It’s very light but the focus is not on the roses. As in you will smell roses but it’s not only that. It’s just a very feminine scent. Smell this, just reminds me of spring. And after a few minutes, the roses kind of mingle with the rest of the features. It’s a good day perfume.
Armani launches its new fragrance Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche in early 2013. The fragrance is a new version of the original Acqua di Gioia perfume from 2010. Other editions include Acqua di Gioia Essenza from 2011 and Acqua di Gioia Eau de Parfum Satinee from 2012. Acqua di Gioia Eau Fraiche is a fresher and lighter version of the fragrance that celebrates natural beauty.
The composition is inspired by delicate breeze, gentle shower of water and soft green leaves. Aquatic notes are more pronounced, while the floral are softened compared to the original. It opens with sparkling notes of grapefruit, Primofiore lemon and mandarin peel leading to the floral – aquatic heart of ylang-ylang, jasmine tea and jasmine water. In the background, cedar wraps around musk and brown sugar to provide long lasting effect.
It’s a very fresh high end EdT. Has a very light floral scent. First spray is quite strong and it lingers on to a light mix scent and in the end it become quite jasmine scented. I really am still bad at figuring scents. But it quite a nice scent. Even as a EdT it’s still very strong. I like it for work. Cause it feels good but still quite light enough to use in the day.
Anne Flipo, Béatrice Piquet and Dominque Ropion have all created scents for some of the biggest names in perfumery. But what path did they take to create Lady Million? “It was clear that this perfume had to be as charismatic as 1 Million, with as strong a signature, yet without a direct olfactory link. The Lady Million woman is dazzling, always seductive. This ‘playful’ aspect inspired us immensely. Lady Million is fresh, floral and woody, like a nectar of voluptuous flowers, trailing delicately but still very present. Powerfully seductive, the sparkle of bitter orange with a touch of raspberry reveals the first breath. A burst of neroli follows, smooth and bright. But then the lethal weapon of heady orange blossom slips out of its sheath. Its narcotic sweetness bewitches and grabs all attention. Then, joining with Arabian jasmine underlined by gardenia, the blend soars into something more carnal, yet ever subtle. Now the obsessive pulsing of patchouli enters the fray, pacifying the honey with an addictive and terribly tempting sweetness. Amber spreads to become all enveloping, floating around the beauty, following each movement and offering its most beautiful facets”.
This is one of my cousin fav. She finished a bottle just like that. It’s a very strong perfume. Very powerful and feminine. It lasts for ages too. Like it will linger on for a good 5 minutes, then whenever you take a snift hours later, you still can smell the scent. Maybe this will last half a day, but I cant really say.
