Morocco Ghassoul Pore Solution Foam Cleanser

I like this as it’s very foamy. It’s a good cleanser and doesn’t dry out my skin. You don’t really a lot to clean your whole face. But if I don’t note down the points of this cleanser after using, I would totally forgot about it. So it’s not something I would be recommending anyone. I like it, just not impressive enough.

Ole Henriksen Empower Foaming Milk Cleanser

This is a cleansing milk which foam up. So it’s very soothing on the face. I like it enough, but I don’t see anything special about it. It removes makeup well and doesn’t make my face dry. But the thing is, my face is back to being oily after about 6 hours. So this is not really meant for oily skin. It’s alright, but it is not targeted as such.

Nothing much else to say about this.

Perfect Whip

This was quite a rage all over Taipei. It’s a product from Japan, but you can pretty much see it everywhere in Taipei. Also, based on “what to buy in Taiwan” blog posts, this is one of the item that’s recommended. They say that it’s more expensive in Singapore. Anyway, in Taipei you can get it about TW99 for bulk pack. But that’s at a promo price. So normally it should be TW129.

I get why people like this. It’s very foamy. You literally need a pea size for your whole face. It smells kind of nice too. I don’t really get what is the scent but it’s pleasant.

In term of cleansing, it’s alright. Gentle and basically suitable for any skin type. I never try to remove any waterproof mascara with this so I don’t know how well it can perform. But it’s good for a daily cleanser.

First Impression: Chia Seed Fresh Cleansing Foam

I find that this doesn’t foam up as much as I hope it would. So it doesn’t do such a good job in cleansing my face. I still have a lot of residue on my lids. The actual product is probably better. But given this, 1ml, I wasn’t impressed. So this is a no for me.

Holika Holika Soda PoreCleansing Cleansing Foam

I was just attracted to the word soda and pore cleansing is definitely up my alley. Do I like this? I wasn’t a fan at first, but I guess my skin kind of get used to it. Then again, actually no, I don’t really like it. But I don’t hate it either. It’s a good foaming cleanser. But I find that it can emphasis on my pores instead of cleansing it. So it’s quite a bugger about that. Plus my skin do get oily using this. Therefore I don’t really it.

Jeju Volcanic Pore Scrub Foam

I just wanted to try something from innisfree. So I got this cause I need a new scrub. And it’s average. I like that it’s a mild scrub. And it will lather on to foam. So that’s like having 2 in 1. I like it even though it’s quite just like that. Nothing really interesting about it. I don’t think it really cleanse the pores very well. But it’s nice to have some scrub to clean your face sometimes. I only been using it like once every 3/4 days. So I don’t think much of a different on me. I just think that this is gentle enough to be able to use daily.

Sebamed Antibacterial Cleansing Foam

A foam cleanser. It’s not bad. Doesn’t strip off your face, so it’s nice. Will not remove waterproof mascara, but will cleanse off face makeup. For acne? I don’t think so. It is not that effective in combating acne off your face. But overall as a face wash, a foam at that, it is quite good. It is gentle. That is important. Deep cleansing? Not really. Or it doesn’t seems like it is.

So it’s a good average gentle cleanser.

A mini cleanser review

Pond’s Skin Mattifying Facial Foam for oil control. This has micro beads even though it is not stated on the packaging. I guess you could look pass that as it’s just barely noticeable. The face wash itself is ok, a bit stripping after the rinse but wasn’t as extreme as the other Pond’s cleanser I tried. It is cheap and does help with oil control. It’s just that when you wash your face, it doesn’t feel as fancyful as others. Cause I guess it’s inexpensive so it just have that thought with you.

Hada Labo Super Hyaluronic Acid Hydrating Wash. It doesn’t foam up even though I feel like it should. It doesn’t strip off moisture from my face, so that’s nice. But it breaks me out just like the toner. So I guess there is something in the ingredient that I can’t use, but I’m just too lazy to check.

Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash is something I don’t like at all. It doesn’t do its job. It doesn’t clean. I don’t feel clean using this. Even though I use a lot of it, but it like just slide of my face without doing anything.

Deep Clean Revitalizing Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub

Yes I bought this cause it is pink. And I love the smell of grapefruit, it’s just so refreshing.
I don’t know if this can be a scrub as it is super gentle. It really is a foaming cleanser with soft ball bits. I like to use this in the morning as the scent really wakes me up. It cleans well, just like any normal cleanser I guess. The problem with this is I tend to squeeze out more than necessary. So 100g is very fast gone. Wouldn’t purchase this again, as it is not a scrub and it doesn’t do anything better than most cleanser, cost $13.90 and very fast being used up. But I really do like the scent of grapefruit.

What’s in my shower?

Today I’ll be sharing the things I have been using in the shower this past month. So these are the products.

1. Estée Lauder Soft Clean Moisture Rich Foaming Cleanser
I like this for removing my makeup, well face makeup. It has a nice florally scent and therefore it can stink your eyes. So I don’t use this to remove eye makeup. It lathers on really well and seems to do quite well in removing most of the foundation on my face. However I wouldn’t be buying this again as I prefer an all-in-one product.

2. Clean & Clear Active Clear Acne Clearing Cleanser
This is just a so-so cleanser in my opinion. It cleans alright, but doesn’t benefit me in anyway.

3. Klorane with Quinine and B vitamins
A revitalizing and strengthening shampoo for thinning hair. I have not had the chance to really buy a proper shampoo. This conveniently appeared in the shower, so I used it. This doesn’t lather easily which I don’t like. It makes my hair shiny in a good way, looks healthy and more volumizing which is great. But at the end of the day, it will be oily. It is also doesn’t seems to help with hair drop. So that’s disappointing.

4. TBS Satsuma Shower Gel
Oranges! While I don’t really like orange, this just smell so wonderful. Like all fruity series of TBS, it lingers on the skin after the shower. It refreshes and motivates me for the day ahead. I love it.

5. Ginvera Real Spa Lavender Shower Scrub
This is nice. Its a relaxing & calming shower scrub to relax stress and renew skin. The lavender scent is not too strong, the scrub is not harsh. And it’s a huge bottle, so it’s a value for money product. As a scrub it doesn’t seems to remove any dead skin. So I just use this as a normal soap and not a scrub.

So that’s it. I am sure it will change soon, especially the shower gel as it is only the travel size. Oh I have one more item and that is conditioner. I am using Sunsilk which I have reviewed here. So ya, do you guys always change product, or keep sticking to the same old thing?
