This smells exactly like aftershave. So I think it’s really good for men. But after showering, the scent doesn’t stay on. So it’s good cause you won’t smell like aftershave.
It’s a scrub, it’s quite harsh but it’s moisturising. It is a little on the runny side so not those kind of lumpy wet sugar kind. So it applies easily on to the skin. But it doesn’t lather, so you have to really use a lot to cover the whole body.
Even though the scrub is harsh, this is ok to be used daily, I feel. It’s not so abrasive as it doesn’t contain as much scrub if that makes sense. So on the face it’s also just a very gentle scrub.
I got this from Sephora Sg online for $13. So it’s quite decently priced. But I think this is only good for people without sensitive skin and who loves the scent of aftershave. Would recommend it for guys who just want a 2 in 1 product – face and body, so easy.
I just wanted to try something from innisfree. So I got this cause I need a new scrub. And it’s average. I like that it’s a mild scrub. And it will lather on to foam. So that’s like having 2 in 1. I like it even though it’s quite just like that. Nothing really interesting about it. I don’t think it really cleanse the pores very well. But it’s nice to have some scrub to clean your face sometimes. I only been using it like once every 3/4 days. So I don’t think much of a different on me. I just think that this is gentle enough to be able to use daily.
Jojoba Charcoal Facial Scrub is an average scrub. It’s very gentle, but I am not a big fan of. It doesn’t do anything for my face and I fear this is the reason I am continuing with my breakouts. Not that I can control it, but this may be the culprit.
Charcoal Detox Deep Pore Gel Cleanser is a bit better. It’s a gel so it’s super gooey and it’s black. It cleans make up off but in term of deep pore cleanser, I just don’t feel it. So a bit blah.
So much raves on the Michael Tood products and yet I don’t think they are good. I’d tried a few things, they re just average. Or maybe it’s just my skin. Anyway, it must be working of people are still buying. I guess it’s just not for me.
I used this cause I just need some scrub desperately. It used to work well on my teenage skin. But now, I can’t use this anymore. It just doesn’t suit me. The scrub is medium gentle. Good facial scrub. But it’s just a bad product for me. I break out using this. So yah, your skin changes as your grow. So one thing to note is that one product may work now doesn’t mean it will work for you next time.
That’s all about this facial wash. Nothing much to talk about.
I am not a big fan of the wp app on iPhone. Every time I upload a photo, the picture is so huge. This is only 50ml, a travel size. Really good sensitive skin as it is just so gentle. I also like that it is pink. Just gives it a very clean, refresh feel. It is a good scrub just for daily use, but for a deep cleanse, this is not it. But it does its job at removing makeup and even waterproof mascara. So it is that good.
I kept seeing this on beauty shops online, so I was really looking forward to try this. I finally got a small sample of it. It is alright, very gentle. The word micro really does tell you that it’s micro. Will remove light foundation on face but not mascara. It is quite small but not bad, can last a few. It is also quite minty. Just have that minty scent. It also have the sour smell that I hate. The mint does help in masking the sour scent, but it’s not strong enough. So I still can scent the ugh out. That’s why I don’t like this.
After lots of amazing reviews on YouTube, I finally get my hands on Michael Todd. Is it as amazing? No. I finished this scrub, cause for some reason I always pour out more than necessary. It is quite a watery texture. Is like the scrub has been contaminated with water. Anyway, the scent is kind of weird too. It is tropical, and I’m sure some people will like it, but I just can’t stand it. I tried to like it, but I failed.
The scrub itself is not harsh but it’s quite chunky I guess. I feel it is more of a cleanser with particles than an actually scrub. It just doesn’t do such a great job as other scrubs I tried. I also have a feeling that this break me out. But I just can’t be sure. So overall I am not a fan.
Soothing refiner & cleanser
It is quite soothing and calming. It’s a good cleanser, not thick. I quite like it.
It’s kind of thick, like a paste. They say to add a couple drop of water, but I find that it doesn’t bond very well. It just crumble away when I try to wash my face. The feeling when using this is like rubbing sandpaper. Not in a harsh way, but when you just curios how sandpaper feels on the skin, so you just rub it gently on the skin. Yup, it feels that way – rough.
If you use warm water, the paste becomes warm. So when you rub your hands, it warm up. That is the only nice thing about this.
This is also quite thick. It is hard to apply to the face. And I feel that this breaks me out. I am not sure if this is the culprit but it seems like it. It is not soothing at all. And I always have this thought that I am applying glue onto my face. I guess cause the scent reminds me of glue. Plus my face is quite oily after using this. Not a fan of the moisturizer.
It is green! So cool. It’s easy to apply. It spread on quite thin. The mask itself doesn’t have any scent. It hurts when applied on blemishes. I just like the color. I mean it is just a classic mask. Makes you look like a witch. Other than that I don’t see anything beneficial of this mask. When washed off, it feels really waxy. So I don’t like it at all.
This is quite cool. You really can’t see the micro beads. It feels like a normal cleanser until it comes in contact with your face. It’s a good daily gentle scrub. It don’t really feel like a scrub. It is a good cleanser though. It is not drying. Doesn’t have any specific scent. It is nice, but I wouldn’t buy it.
Yes I bought this cause it is pink. And I love the smell of grapefruit, it’s just so refreshing.
I don’t know if this can be a scrub as it is super gentle. It really is a foaming cleanser with soft ball bits. I like to use this in the morning as the scent really wakes me up. It cleans well, just like any normal cleanser I guess. The problem with this is I tend to squeeze out more than necessary. So 100g is very fast gone. Wouldn’t purchase this again, as it is not a scrub and it doesn’t do anything better than most cleanser, cost $13.90 and very fast being used up. But I really do like the scent of grapefruit.
