This is just too cute I couldn’t resist. But the product is so little when you open it. It’s barely half. It’s like a cream mix with sugar. So it’s a very gentle scrub. A little goes a long way, so that’s good I guess. If not I will feel that I got rip off buying this. It tastes really good too. I didn’t eat it, but on the lips, it tasted good, sweet.
This is not heavy duty, so my lips are still chapped after. It’s just when you rinse it off, it’s like you have a coat of balm on your mouth area. So it feels like your lips is smooth and nice. But after an hour or so, it’s back to normal. So this is not good at all. I think poeple who doesn’t have dry lips can use this as it’s just way too gentle. But the lip shape container is just too cute. So at least it will make a cute table deco.
When they tell us that we will be getting something pink, I was excited. I like all things pink. My box is pink, the card is pink, but other than that it wasn’t as pink as I would have hope.
First up, theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. I was so delighted when I saw this in the box. Two months ago, I got the Hot Mama instead and was feeling quite disappointed. Cause I heard so much rave about this highlighter. True enough it so soft and pigmented. The powder is really smooth, another product I will love touching for sure. But its so small, I don’t want to hit pan on it. I like the sample size, its just cute and compact. Love the magnetic closure. Love it better than Hot Mama. Hot Mama is not as smooth to the touch. And look at the color, its gorgeous. One down side, I do not have pointy nose, so putting it down my nose, just make my pores seems so much more obvious.
Next, La Clinica Gly C Refine Micro Dermabrasion facial Exfoliating Scrub is a harsh scrub. The micro-demabrasion is so tiny and feels like soft sand. It really does feel refine, however when you wash your face, it is very harsh.
Indio Cosmeceutical Renew Cream is a night serum. It is said to be anti-aging cream designed to soften the face. At first when I put this on, there is a slight tingling. It said to be expected. So I wasn’t concern about it. It also said to use for a period of 6-8 weeks. So with this 10mL sample, I wonder how to achieve that promised skin. Besides, I really hate the scent. It’s like a sour smell that linger. I can’t sleep, and my hands smell as bad. From the tube it is just like any other face cream scent, but after awhile, the sour smell emerged. It’s oily on the face, but when I wake up, it seems that it has all been absorbed. So its quite nice. But the scent. Ugh!
Vaseline Healthy White Perfect 10 I had this sample before. So it was kind of disappointing getting this. Plus it doesn’t look it was the full 25mL. I already did a review of it here.
Sugar and Butter lip polish. It’s just nice as I finished my lip scrub. I got mine in Vanilla Latte. The scent is lovely, remind me of coffee bread with a hint of cinnamon. The scrub itself its gentle, so not really a big fan. Wish Formula Jjoyy Bubble Peeling Pad is so fun to use. I really enjoy using it. Now I feel like getting a proper wash cloth. Its a powder puff but filled with soap. It cleanse the face really well. My foundation get removed so easily. They say you need to so call exfoliate your skin in a 28-days cycle. So I guess if using this once a month, it should be fine. Cause for $6.50 per pack, it can get pricey if you use it daily. Dr Morita Eye Mask is like a normal mask. Instead for the whole face, its for the eyes. Maybe a bit of puffiness disappear, but I wasn’t so sure. It doesn’t feel any special.
Lastly, I got this Recoliv Beauty Collagen which is a unique blend of German collagen, French olive and red grape extract. It claimed to be pleasant in taste and conveniently packed. I can tell you I had a hard time tearing the packet open and it taste really bad. I don’t know, I just hate it.
So yah. That’s what I got in my September Bellabox and for the first time, I tried it all before the month end.
I like how this is call sugar and butter. Cause the scrub is sugar and lip plumper feels like butter. I never read that it’s a plumper, I just use them. Then 5 seconds later, there is a tingling feeling on my lips. I kind of like it. It’s one of the stronger tingling feeling I’ve experience. It feels really smooth too. Makes rubbing your lips together really nice.
The exfoliator is rather thick, compact, dense and hard. Strangely it transfer onto lips rather easily. I go over my lips with it then use my fingers to scrub it. After 10 seconds, I wipe it off using a tissue or wash it off. I find cleaning it with wet tissue is best as the sugar will transfer onto it.
Really like how it turn out. Somehow it makes my lips look bigger and well more plump. Love it. The color is nothing special. It’s just a hint of neutral pink. Really soft, and it’s just pretty much a better color of your lips with a tiny frost finish.
I have another lip scrub. I fell in love with the smell of mint.
This is in lipstick form so it’s really easy to apply. Plus it’s not so soft. It’s like butter after you take it out from the fridge, so it’s firm but easily transfer onto the lips.
It is only 2.5g or 0.08oz and its made in the USA. It cost S$19.90, so it’s really steep.
It works wonder. I apply it like a lipstick, then use my fingers to scrub it further. I have to really use a generous amount, so in the end, I feel like I use a lot of it for each use. I really love it though, but I don’t think I’ll ever repurchase it, unless its like 75% off or something.
This smell incredible amazing. It smell just like what it is stated, peppermint chocolate. Just a hint of chocolate. I love it. The scrub is not painful too. It’s practically sugar, and you can make it yourself. But you gotta love the scrub from Lush and its hard not to buy it after you smell them.
After scrubbing, your lips became so soft and smooth. And the sweetness and yumminess of this scrub just makes you want to keep scrubbing. But ya, a little goes a long way. I only use this after I brush my teeth, most of the time. When my lips are obviously peeling/cracking. If its not that bad, then I probably won’t use it. I’ll just apply my lip balm.
I wouldn’t purchase this, even though I love it so much. The price is just too big a factor. When you can make it yourself for barely anything. Just DIY. Sugar, olive oil, done. Sugar, honey, done. So many tutorial on how to make your own lip scrub. But I do want to know how to make it as tasty as mint julips.
