Horse Oil Cream

I don’t like this. It smells funny and break me out. My Cousin swear by this though. Not all skin are born equally. This gives her such plump healthy looking skin. Her skin is more on the normal side that needs a lot of moisture. While mine is just oily and prone to break outs. So this is either too rich for me or there’s something in it that doesn’t suit me. Oh well, to each her own.

Lanocreme Gold Placenta Facial Cream

This is supposed to be delicately fragranced with almond flowers and honey. The scent though, it’s rather strong. I actually like it. It has a nice old school kind of feel. Like a nice flowery body lotion kind of scent. Anyway, the cream remind me a lot like cold cream. But it kind of distributed into the skin rather quick. It’s thick, but flow easily. I like it enough for for night time used. I think it’s too rich for me for day time moisturiser. It’s to be applied on the face and neck.

My aunt’s friend swear by this but she only applied on her neck. It helped to tighten that area and made it looked better, younger. So she recommends this to us to use for our neck area. Which come to think of it, it’s often neglected. You can have a very smooth face, but your neck more often than not will give away your age. I can’t say whether this actually works or not. But I do like the look the cream gives me. I look fresher. It’s like after you exercise that kind of look. A bit “oily” look, but it just makes me look young and healthy.

For 100ml, the packaging is quite compact. I only saw this in Aussie, so I’m not sure where else can buy this. I also can’t remember how much this cost too. But I think it’s quite worth for moisturiser for anyone with normal skin.

Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturiser

This is quite nice. I never notice the scent until I use this in an enclosed place. The hotel bathroom was rather small. So when I use this, the scent of mandarin is quite strong. Reason it’s mandarin is cause the packaging is orange so it just to me smells of oranges. So it really is an energy boosting moisturiser.

It’s quite a thin moisturiser, and it sinks into the skin nicely. Only around my nose area will get oily by the end of the day. So a midday touch up is necessary. But it’s quite nice to use this. I wouldn’t buy the full size cause this is not meant for oily skin.

Merlot Collection Resveratrol Moisture Day Cream

This is such a thick moisturiser. Thus it takes time to blend into the skin. I don’t really like it as I prefer light moisturiser. But it’s alright for anyone with dry to normal skin. It doesn’t have any merlot scent so that’s not an issue if anyone wondering. But ya, it’s not suitable for me at all.

Lancome Blanc Expert Beautiful Skin Tone Brightening Cream

This is a nice cream to be used for me at night time. I Guess my face is just too oily to take in any cream that does not say for oily skin. I found that this works well for the outer side of my face. That’s where my face is not so oily. It’s actually quite normal. Only around my nose area that is really oily. So I only use this at night as I don’t want to add in the shine during the day.

I don’t see any brightening effect. But maybe I use this too little time for anything noticeable. I would have enjoyed using this if I stay in colder countries. As this is not heavy yet very moisturising. Then again, there are other moisturiser that I feel is better than this.

First Impression: Egg Mellow Cream

This is a very moisturising cream. It’s so oily on me. Once you put it on, you already can feel the thickness of it. It’s not thick nor heavy. But for some reason it just feels weighted on my skin. I guess cause this is really quite good for anyone in need of moisture. People with dry skin will love this. People like me not so much. Even in cold country, I think this is too much for me.

Korres Pomegranate Moisturising & Balancing Cream Gel

I’ve been using this about a month now. I’m only 1/4 through. I only use this in the morning, and I don’t use a lot of it. It’s quite alright as long as I use a setting powder, my face doesn’t really turn oily. Even though this is meant to be for oily skin. So a little is all you need. I find that it hydrates my skin well enough, but it’s not really as good as other moisturiser I’ve tried. Cause this is a thicker cream. Therefore, it takes longer for this to sink into the skin. Since I used do little to spread it around the face, this doesn’t take that long to sink in. So it’s quite ok for the morning.

I would prefer a lighter, runnier moisturiser as its easier to spread out for the morning rush. But I have no complain. Plus I manage to use this for a long time. So it’s good enough for me. Just not a favourite I guess. I think this will be better for night time, but I just don’t like the jar form. Don’t really fancy dipping my fingers into it. So yeah, it’s just a morning thing.

First Impression: DearPacker Mas Cream

This is a very thick moisturiser. It’s good for people with really dry skin. It takes forever for the cream to set into the skin. So this is not for me. But I think this will be nice in winter months. But I do like the scent. It has a faint sweet scent which I can’t put a finger as to what scent. But it’s nice.

Medicated Sekkisei Lotion and Emulsion

I was given these and I have no idea what they were. The formula feels like serums. I am not sure if both are the same or different. I take it that they are different. And upon researching I think one of them is a lotion (right) and the one with the pump is a moisturiser. I may be wrong, but the moisturiser is slightly thicker.

I don’t really want to talk about these as I am not 100% certain what they are. But these doesn’t really break me out. So it’s not bad. Oh well, I just want to have this up on this blog cause I want a memory of this.

This is a good way to try out the brand. But this set, is not exactly cheap. I can’t remember how much I got it for, but I think it is over $35.

A handy wash bag and organic muslin cloth.

The cleanser is alright. Not a big fan of it. It is better as a makeup remover, where you apply it on your dry skin and remove with cotton pad. The muslin cloth is quite rough. I am not sure if the texture is suppose to be such. But it is nice to have an extra face cloth and I always wanted a muslin cloth.

The toner is my fav as it is a spray. It is just so convenient to apply as a spray. The smell is a bit weird though.

Moisturiser is for day. Not sure why. I don’t see any declare SPF. But it is a fast absorbing cream indeed. I like it as a day moisturiser. It dries fast, and my face will not be super oily after. As long as I use a good sealing powder that is. Overall, it is an okay set. I wouldn’t exactly buy the full size though.
