Volume Million Lashes

A rubber wand that quite big actually. The thing I don’t like about this is that it smudges. I feel that cause the wand is sort of bug, it just smudged on me. I can’t really control the application.

Does it gives volume? Yes. But the more I use the more it clumps. So this is not a good mascara for me. I think it’s nice on anyone with thick lashes. If not it just feel like it gives clumpy lashes.

L’Oreal Colour Riche – Sunset Angora

I don’t look good in Coral. I love the shade, but it’s just one of those shades that just doesn’t really work on me. This one is pigmented enough, but still quite sheer on the lips. I have to go through a few times for its to be a full on shade on me.

The colour is super pretty, the lipstick is easy to wear. But it will only look good on me when my lips is perfect. That’s mean no chapped lips. This is really a traditional lipstick. It’s soft but stern. It gives a shiny finish. It’s not exactly drying, but it’s not moisturising. It’s just a lipstick.

False Lash Wings Butterfly Effect Fibers Mascara

I quite like the wand on this. The effect is surprisingly flattering. People comment that it will be hard to apply on both side, but I have no problem. You just have to adjust the wand accordingly. This is a very wet mascara. So much so that it smudges on me. After a couple months, this is still wet. I really feel that this will last forever. This is super black, and it will really show. Slightly under dramatic, but it will be quite flashy. It’s lengthening and darken the lashes. At first this doesn’t clump. But the more I use the more it starts to. I guess the mascara sort of get dryer. But not really also. Hard to really explain.

It’s just extra good for those who already have long lashes and want the extra length. In term volume, it gives some. But not as full. Curling power is alright, but average to me. Overall not that bad. I just wish that it’s waterproof. I mean it’s not as bad as it only smudge on application. End of day, it’s alright doesn’t smudge. I guess it just set well.

What’s In My Shower

They say that 80% of people in Singapore stay in HDB (public housing). My mom’s house is under the old layout which only has 1 bathroom. Basically it is 2. One for shower, the other is the toilet. There are 5 of us trying to use the shower daily. Thankfully, we have different schedule, so we never have to fight for the shower. We also have 4 “shelf” area where we put the shampoo and soap on. And 1 shelf is specially for me. While the rest sort of share shower gel and shampoo, I tend to have my own. The rest of the shelves consist of 1) shampoo (general, bro, sis), shower gel, 2) facial wash (mom, sis, bro), eczema soap, conditioner and 3) shower cap, mini toiletries, etc.

When it comes to my shelf, I have 9 item squeeze into the tiny space. Plus the conditioner which I usually share with my sis therefore it wont be on my shelf. Here are the item I am using at the moment.
I am in between shampoos. I am usually either using Avalon Organics thickening shampoo or Naturvital hair loss shampoo. Or maybe some Klorane. So it really depend.

2. Clarifying shampoo

I’ve been using this Avalon Organics Clarifying Lemon Shampoo for a while, and I really mean a while. I just cant seem to finish this up. I hardly use this as I don’t think this is as good. I try to use this once a week, but will be more if I took a late shower, cause I have no confidence in my oily hair. So this is just good for a day.

3. Hair mask/treatment
I tend to use more hair mask than conditioner. It is much thicker and I don’t have to use as much.

I like this. It’s thick and a little is all you need to make your hair extra smooth. I used it once and after for 3 days straight I don’t use any conditioner. My hair is still very smooth. I was so impressed. In term of strengthening, well I’m not really sure how good it is. But it’s really nice for tangle free hair for days. It’s also not that expensive.

I don’t like the shampoo and conditioner as much. Cause you really have to use a lot of it. But this one is much better.

4. Shower gel

I am not so fussy when it comes to shower gel, but I do love fruity scented shower gel. About 70% of the time, I am using TBS or Sephora. This time I have the mango creamy body wash from Sephora. This smells so much like mango pudding. It’s very creamy and foam up nicely. It doesn’t give crazy foam, but it’s nice on the body. It’s moisturising and doesn’t leave your skin feeling dry. I really like it.

5. Body scrub

This is the honey body scrub. I just cant get over the scent of TBS honey. its just so sweet and lovely. I really do love most of the scents from TBS and I just cant get over them. Bought this on sale, if not I will prefer to use the squeeze tube one which is for daily use. The tub one is to be used once or twice a week only as it is more abrasive.

6. Face wash

I’m not sure if I like this. It is quite watery. It has this scent that I can’t describe but it just feels organic and westernise herbal. Yea it doesn’t make sense, but that is that. I am not sure if this is the reason pimple kept popping out. In term of cleansing, this do great. It feels like it strip off moisture, yet it doesn’t leave your skin dry.

7. Facial scrub

This is TheFaceShop Flebeaute White Crystal Diamond Peeling. It’s not exactly a facial scrub, but I guess you can consider it as one. You can use it on a dry face or a wet one. It is so lovely on the face regardless. It foam up well. So on dry face, you use this in circular motion for about 1 minute, then you rinse it. It feels good on the face. And after you rinse off, your fave just feels super clean. With a wet face, this is less abrasive. But still function he same.

8. Hygiene wash

I use the travel size one. Especially for the brand Lactacyd, I will buy the 60ml at $2 cause ml by ml comparing to the full size, this is much cheaper. I pretty much tried all the different variants they have, and I like the original best. I am not so choosy on the brand I use. But not everything works well for me. The yellow bottle of Lactacyd is a no for me.

9. Shaver

I will have a razor in the shower. This will be for my legs. I shave like every 2-3days. This one is the 3 blades one. The refills are not as expensive as the 4 or 5 blades. But I buy them on sale anyway. I know you are suppose to throw away the blade after like a few uses, but I will only throw it away if I feel that it’s no longer sharp. And that is a personal feel. But ya, I prefer guy shaver as they are slightly cheaper. And I use conditioner to lather up, so no problem there.

So those are the things I usually have in my bathroom. Different brand, but same function. I wish we can have bath tubs in HDB. I want to use Lush bombs so badly. Oh well, we can’t have everything.

LeMatte Color Riche – Matte For Me

I really love this formula. It’s so far the most long lasting lip product I’d ever used. So this is my go to product for events. It just leave behind a very pigmented stain so it looks as if you are wearing colour. No touch up is needed.

It’s also a very pretty matte hot pink. It looks almost red, so it’s really nice for night time. It just brighten up your face. It transfer a bit, but that’s it. Just a bit. Really worth the $12 I got this for.

I wish this is not discontinued. I wish this can be bought in Singapore.

LaLaque Color Riche – Lacque Omg

This is one of the most beautiful red I’ve ever lay eyes on. It just looks so juicy. This is the lalaque, which is suppose to be shiny. But the product is so soft that it just kept breaking. Not sure if it’s the weather, so it’s just naturally soft. So will have to put this in the freezer before use.

Since it’s so creamy, it’s hard to get everything inside the line. It can, but it will sort of move around. Formula wise, I think I still prefer the matte one. But this is just so pretty. I would love to be able to pull this off for a night out.

Voluminous Carbon Black Mascara

I wanted to try this for so long. Cause someone wore this and it looks like she’s wearing fake lashes. Her lashes look so full and she said this is what she wore. After 7 years later, I managed to try it.

It’s a semi wet formula. So the formula is average. It coats every lash perfectly. In term how volumising it is, it does a good job. But it’s not lengthening. It’s not waterproof, so it smudge really easily. That’s the thing I don’t like about this. It’s the smudging. No matter how I use it, it still smudges. So after awhile I give up.

When I try to use this again a month later, the formula started to dry a bit. So the volumising property is close to none. It became a normal mascara which I still like, but the smudging is there.

So this is a fail for me. Maybe it will be better for those with shorter lashes.

UV Perfect Aqua Essence City Face Mist

I bought this back in August, and I always wanted to do a comparison between this and the Biore UV mist before doing a post. For some reason, I never bought the Biore one.
Now, this is being promoted in Singapore. It is in every other bus stop ad or something. So I just want to jump the gun and share this before the hype died.

I really like this. Cause unlike tiny micro droplet, this came out as a mist. Mist will evaporate and still can feel a tiny bit of water, but this literally is just smoke. It is so fine. I am so impress. It feels nothing on the skin. It doesn’t leave my skin feeling oily and at the end of the day, my face too doesn’t get oily. It is like I am not putting any product on my skin.

I really recommend this and especially for anyone who doesn’t like putting sunscreen on. You just have to spray this on to the face and you are good to go. It is small, so you can bring it anywhere. Go to the ladies, or where ever, spray it on, and continue with your life. It is really that easy. Love it.

LeMatte Color Riche – No Matte-r What

I really do love these LeMatte pens. It’s so creamy and easy apply. This nude shade is also quite the perfect shade for me. It’s wearable without it looking like a concealer. I guess I’ve been more attracted to nudes that are more pink and light. Those kind of nudes are actually not that good for me. Darker neutrals are better suited. So this is nice. It can be a bit drying if your lips is already quite dry. But of not, this is quite ok for a matte product.

Revitalift Revitalising Cleansing Wipes

I kind of like this pacakaging cause it’s quite sturdy. So it will always be wet. The wipes itself has raised dots on one side for exfoliating.  It’s just ok. I paid like about $9 for this. It doesn’t really remove makeup. It’s ok to cleanse but not great for heavy makeup, especially waterproof mascara. So I wouldn’t buy this again. It’s not that good.
