Other than lipsticks, I have way too many blush to last me a lifetime. But I just can’t help it. I love blushers. I love the “girly” colors. Ok, the feminine colors. They are just so pretty. I especially love this. It’s so long lasting. I thought my MAC prolong blush is good, this is even better. It really stay put. It doesn’t turn oily on the cheeks. It just really stain the cheek. But a makeup wipes easily remove the color. So Ya. I really like this.
I am still loving the tiny packaging. Love the magnetic closure too. The product itself is not bad. So far, no problem with theBalm, I like all the product I’ve tried.
This is a blush, which also can be used as an eyeshadow. It’s a shimmery golden specks peachy color blush. I don’t exactly use it. More for playing around but it’s good. The pigmentation is good. But I guess for me, it won’t show up as much as compare to someone more fair.
Will repurchase? Probably not.
There was a time when I loved lip plumper. I love the tingling sensation. It’s just fun regardless of how it made my lips look. I don’t see my lips get bigger, so quite a useless plumper. But it tingles and it is good as a gloss. I thought the color will be too light for me. But it’s actually a good nude shade. In fact can be worn in one thin coat and it will appear clear. Two coat will be better, but it really depend on your skin tone I guess.
Oh, the color is Cocoa My Coconut. A cream nude shade that’s not too pigmented. It smells lovely. Like a combination of cocoa and coconut. But not coconut tropical scent. It also doesn’t linger on the lips. It has a good amount of shine and doesn’t feel as sticky as some gloss does. But you can feel it on the lips. Some product feel so comfortable you forgot it was there, this is not one of the product. The applicator is a doe foot, so it’s pretty standard. Overall not bad, but I wouldn’t purchase it again. I forgot how much I paid this for, but it was not cheap (as compare to NYX, of course). And it is one of those thing that you need to scrub your lips before application. Chapped, cracked lips are visible otherwise.
They sell the palette of lip stain/blush with the colors pictured on the packaging. But as a sample piece, they only give you one color to try. When Bellabox showed us what we would be getting months ago, I was extremely excited as I though for sure they will be giving us the whole mini sized palette. As like the Meet Matt palette comes in the original size and the half size one. But come on, it was wishful thinking. There is just no way that they will ever give us good sample, so, oh well.
Thankfully I like the mini samples from theBalm. The packaging is cute. As for the product, I really do like it. (But I really wish I could have tried all the shades, hah!) I like it more as a blush than as a lip stain. I find that it doesn’t stain my lips as much as I thought it would. Maybe it is just the color Pie that is not that strong.
So overall it is a good product and I really do want a full size. But we just have to see.
With red lips, I need a blush that doesn’t give me a clown look. I need something subtle yet pretty. Something that doesn’t shine. Reviews kept saying that theBalm Fratboy is the prefect blush for those days when you don’t know what blush to use. Wel,they are right, the color is just neutral. It gives a hint color on the cheek without screaming look at me. I find myself reaching a lot for it as it really is a good blush for any occasion.
The blush is smooth. The packaging is sleek. Lasting power is average.
Will repurchase? Yes.
In other color? Yup.
When they tell us that we will be getting something pink, I was excited. I like all things pink. My box is pink, the card is pink, but other than that it wasn’t as pink as I would have hope.
First up, theBalm Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter. I was so delighted when I saw this in the box. Two months ago, I got the Hot Mama instead and was feeling quite disappointed. Cause I heard so much rave about this highlighter. True enough it so soft and pigmented. The powder is really smooth, another product I will love touching for sure. But its so small, I don’t want to hit pan on it. I like the sample size, its just cute and compact. Love the magnetic closure. Love it better than Hot Mama. Hot Mama is not as smooth to the touch. And look at the color, its gorgeous. One down side, I do not have pointy nose, so putting it down my nose, just make my pores seems so much more obvious.
Next, La Clinica Gly C Refine Micro Dermabrasion facial Exfoliating Scrub is a harsh scrub. The micro-demabrasion is so tiny and feels like soft sand. It really does feel refine, however when you wash your face, it is very harsh.
Indio Cosmeceutical Renew Cream is a night serum. It is said to be anti-aging cream designed to soften the face. At first when I put this on, there is a slight tingling. It said to be expected. So I wasn’t concern about it. It also said to use for a period of 6-8 weeks. So with this 10mL sample, I wonder how to achieve that promised skin. Besides, I really hate the scent. It’s like a sour smell that linger. I can’t sleep, and my hands smell as bad. From the tube it is just like any other face cream scent, but after awhile, the sour smell emerged. It’s oily on the face, but when I wake up, it seems that it has all been absorbed. So its quite nice. But the scent. Ugh!
Vaseline Healthy White Perfect 10 I had this sample before. So it was kind of disappointing getting this. Plus it doesn’t look it was the full 25mL. I already did a review of it here.
Sugar and Butter lip polish. It’s just nice as I finished my lip scrub. I got mine in Vanilla Latte. The scent is lovely, remind me of coffee bread with a hint of cinnamon. The scrub itself its gentle, so not really a big fan.
Wish Formula Jjoyy Bubble Peeling Pad is so fun to use. I really enjoy using it. Now I feel like getting a proper wash cloth. Its a powder puff but filled with soap. It cleanse the face really well. My foundation get removed so easily. They say you need to so call exfoliate your skin in a 28-days cycle. So I guess if using this once a month, it should be fine. Cause for $6.50 per pack, it can get pricey if you use it daily.
Dr Morita Eye Mask is like a normal mask. Instead for the whole face, its for the eyes. Maybe a bit of puffiness disappear, but I wasn’t so sure. It doesn’t feel any special.
Lastly, I got this Recoliv Beauty Collagen which is a unique blend of German collagen, French olive and red grape extract. It claimed to be pleasant in taste and conveniently packed. I can tell you I had a hard time tearing the packet open and it taste really bad. I don’t know, I just hate it.
So yah. That’s what I got in my September Bellabox and for the first time, I tried it all before the month end.
